Liverpool have reportedly been cleared to seal the signing of Juventus winger Marko Pjaca for just £22million as they need to raise transfer funds this summer.

The Croatia international has not been a regular at Juve, and spent part of last season out on loan at Bundesliga side Schalke.

It is now claimed that Liverpool are interested in Pjaca, and that Juventus are prepared to cash in for £22m as they look to bring in some money ahead of splashing out on Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, as translated by talkSPORT.

Pjaca could be a useful signing for the Reds given their lack of depth behind that first choice front three of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.

The 23-year-old has long been rated as a promising young talent, even if things haven’t quite worked out for him so far.

Liverpool could be the ideal place for Pjaca to revive his career, with Jurgen Klopp showing he can get players to take their games to a new level in his expansive and entertaining side.
