Manchester United reportedly want as much as £132million for Paul Pogba if he is to seal a transfer away from the club this summer.
Lionel Messi is said to want the France international at Barcelona after his stunning performances at this summer’s World Cup, but United want a mammoth transfer fee of £132m for him, according to Don Balon.
It remains to be seen if Barcelona would really be prepared to pay that kind of money for Pogba, though they are in dire need of some spark in midfield after the departure of club legend Andres Iniesta.
Pogba could go some way to providing that creativity from midfield, with the 25-year-old showing what he can do in a more free role with the French national side as they won the World Cup this summer.
Messi is clearly a big fan, according to Don Balon, but United may want to go all out to build their team around Pogba next season after so far struggling to get the best out of him.
