For most football players, pre-season is about meeting up with your new teammates, getting fit and mentally preparing yourself for the gruelling nine months of solid football ahead.
However for Man United star Axel Tuanzebe, this pre-season was a little different to say the least.
The 20-year-old, as per the Sun, ended up breaking the Guinness World Record for the quickest ever game of Hungry Hippos, with the player beating the board game in the rapidly-quick time of 17.36.
The news outlet note that Tuanzebe and his Red Devils teammates spent the afternoon trying to break a whole host of records, with Tuanzebe being successful in his attempts.
Perhaps the strangest pre-season story so far…#MUFC's Axel Tuanzebe broke the Guinness World Record for the fastest time to clear a game of Hungry Hungry Hippos ever on their US tour, at just over 17 seconds.

It’s nice to see players taking their job a bit less seriously and have a bit of fun in today’s modern game, even if it means they break absolutely bizarre world records like Tuanzebe has here!
Now, if only he can channel the energy he put into breaking this world record into his displays on the pitch, he could find himself breaking into United’s starting line-up this season! (with a bit of luck, of course).
