Real Madrid target given £65m price-tag with Chelsea, Liverpool also linked with teenage star

Real Madrid, Chelsea, Liverpool and Bayern Munich have reportedly all been alerted as Borussia Dortmund have placed a £65m price-tag on Christian Pulisic.

The 19-year-old has continued to impress for the Bundesliga giants, scoring 12 goals in 97 games while establishing himself as a regular for the senior USA side with nine goals in 21 caps.

In turn, he appears to have a bright future ahead of him, but whether or not that will be with Dortmund remains to be seen as transfer speculation suggests otherwise.

According to The Daily Mail, the German outfit are open to the idea of selling but one of Real Madrid, Chelsea, Liverpool or Bayern will have to splash out on Pulisic as he’s reportedly been given a £65m valuation, with Madrid and Chelsea said to have been in contact already.

It’s questionable as to whether Liverpool really need him given that they’ve already signed Xherdan Shaqiri this summer to offer quality and depth behind their preferred attacking trident, while Chelsea still have Willian, Pedro and Eden Hazard in the supporting attacking roles behind their frontman.

Real Madrid lost Cristiano Ronaldo this summer, but new coach Julen Lopetegui still has Gareth Bale, Isco, Marco Asensio and Lucas Vazquez at his disposal who could all step up and look to fill the void left behind by their former teammate.

In turn, that would suggest Bayern would seem like the logical decision, particularly given that both Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery are approaching the end of their glittering careers, a point made by the Mail.

Time will tell if the Bavarian giants are his preferred option though and if they are willing to spend £65m on him, as there is seemingly still a long way to go before the talented youngster edges closer towards the exit door at Dortmund.
