Juventus have enjoyed an impressive summer transfer market, but reports claim that the Bianconeri are also planning for the long-term future.

The Serie A giants have won seven consecutive league titles with Massimiliano Allegri extending their domestic domination over the last four years with a string of Coppa Italia triumphs too.

Having re-signed Leonardo Bonucci and added Cristiano Ronaldo, Emre Can and Joao Cancelo among others this summer, Juve look well equipped to defend their crowns while also launching a genuine assault on the Champions League.

Given it’s now over two decades since their last success in Europe, that seems to be the ultimate objective for the Turin giants.

While they’ve seemingly adopted a ‘win now’ approach with the additions of Bonucci and Ronaldo over the next two or three years while they’re still in their prime, it’s been reported that the club’s management also have plans with a more long-term vision in mind.

As reported by Tuttosport, Adrien Rabiot, Antonino La Gumina and Federico Chiesa are all said to be on Juve’s transfer radar next year, and given that they’re all in their early 20s, they could be expected to form the core of the next cycle if the club are successful in their respective pursuits.

Rabiot in particular would be a marquee addition given his development and influence for the French giants, while Chiesa has continued to impress for Fiorentina with the 20-year-old scoring six goals and providing nine assists in 38 appearances last season.

While Allegri has Ronaldo, Paulo Dybala, Juan Cuadrado, Douglas Costa, Mario Mandzukic and others at his disposal already, additions for this season in the final third don’t seem necessary. However, Chiesa, along with La Gumina, could be important additions in the future.
