Liverpool 1st, Arsenal 2nd: The final Premier League table based on percentage of bets placed

Posted by

Ladbrokes have kindly provided us with their own version of what the final Premier League table would look like based on bets placed with them ahead of the new season.

As you can see below, Liverpool come out on top by some way, with punters clearly confident Jurgen Klopp’s men can build on last season’s progress and pose the biggest threat to Manchester City.

Arsenal’s change in manager also seems to have sparked some optimism about their chances, with the impressive Unai Emery coming in and backed into second place on this table.

City actually drop all the way down to fifth, though that may be because few are placing bets on Pep Guardiola’s side as the odds won’t be as tempting.

Here’s Ladbrokes’ table in full:

1. Liverpool – (36.19%)
2. Arsenal – (14.65%)
3. Man United – (9.16%)
4. Tottenham – (6.60%)
5. Man City – (6.19%)
6. Chelsea – (5.58%)
7. West Ham – (4.62%)
8. Wolves – (3.89%)
9. Everton – (2.01%)
10. Fulham – (1.94%)
11. Newcastle – (1.63%)

14. Burnley – (0.92%)
15. Brighton – (0.90%)
