“Sarri out” – Some Chelsea fans already calling for new manager’s head after latest transfer decision

Some Chelsea fans are absolutely fuming with developments today as Michy Batshuayi heads out on loan to Valencia after the close of the transfer window.

Strong hints have appeared on Twitter from both Batshuayi himself and Valencia’s official account following reports that a deal had been agreed for the Belgium international to move to the Mestalla.

Valencia have sent out this tweet saying a new bat is arriving at the club, while the 24-year-old himself retweeted this and also tweeted a bat emoji, in reference to both his nickname and the bat that appears in the La Liga side’s crest.

Draw your own conclusions from that, but we imagine this will be official shortly, and some Chelsea fans are not at all happy with this decision.

While it perhaps seems unlikely that new manager Maurizio Sarri is directly to blame for this decision, it suggests perhaps that the player is leaving after the Italian decided against making him a key part of his first-team plans.

CFC fans are now tweeting in their droves with angry messages about Sarri overlooking a seemingly talented forward in Batshuayi, just as his predecessor Antonio Conte did last season…
