Reasons to be Positive

Despite not bringing in any players this summer, Spurs also managed to hold onto all of their key players as well, something that should definitely be a good sign for the club’s fans.

Players like Kane, Tripper, Dele Alli, Lloris, Hueng-Min Son, Alderweireld and Moussa Dembele are still all at the club, something that their fans should definitely be happy about given just how vital they are to their side.

Spurs managed to keep the main core of their squad this summer

The club also managed to keep ahold of Pochettino as well, something that’s a huge boost for the club given the fact that the Argentine is one of the best coaches in the Premier League at the moment.

Although no new players have been signed, Spurs fans should still be over the moon that their team have an almost identical team to the side that bagged an impressive third-placed finish last year.

Causes for Concern

Something that Spurs don’t have in comparison to all of their title rivals is a good amount of squad depth.

With only one superb striker in their squad, Spurs are a serious Kane injury away from having a below-par campaign this time round.

The club should’ve have definitely dipped into the transfer market this summer, a mistake that is surely going to be a costly one come May unless they get ridiculously lucky with injuries and the fitness of their players.

Spurs’ lack of signing is set to cost them big time this year unless they get very lucky

After seeing teams like Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool seriously splash the cash this summer, Spurs fans were surely annoyed with their side’s lack of movement in the transfer market.

And, if things don’t go their way, the north London side may not have it in them to do as well as they did last year and secure Champions League football for yet another season.

Kits

Spurs seem to have gone with the safe options with their choices of kit this season.

Their home kit is a typical white number, however this year’s is slightly different, as the bottom of the shirt fades in nicely with their blue shorts.

Spurs are set to be rocking two simple but stylish numbers this season

The away strip is simple but effective, and is one that we’re sure a fair few fans will be wanting to get their hands on before the season’s end.
