Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw has revealed the piece of advice Jose Mourinho has given him about attacking more after he scored a superb goal against Leicester City.
The England international was remarkably on the score sheet for the first time of his professional career as he netted a stunning effort in the 2-1 win over the Foxes at Old Trafford.
This helped United to an important three points in their opening game of the new Premier League season, in what was a very promising performance all-round from Shaw.

After a difficult spell at United, the 23-year-old hasn’t always been a regular starter under Mourinho, who was publicly critical of him on a number of occasions last season and the year before.
Discussing his goal after the game, Shaw has been quoted by Twitter account UtdReport as telling Sky Sports that Mourinho has actually encouraged him to go forward more.
The former Southampton man says that was one of the manager’s issues with him previously, and it’s clear this tactical advice has paid off!
Shaw: "He (Mourinho) likes me to attack. Last season that's why he was disappointed with me – he gives me a lot of help." #mulive [sky]
