Barcelona are reportedly going to put off a move for Man United and France superstar Paul Pogba until next summer.

This is according to the Express, who note that the Spanish giants have come to terms with the fact that they aren’t going to be able to pry the midfielder away from Old Trafford this summer, and that the Red Devils are unlikely to want to sell the player in January either.

The report also states that Barca are now going to put off a move for the 25-year-old until next summer.

This decision is something that may see the club get Pogba for cheaper given the fact that United will then have a fair few months to bring in a replacement for him.

Barca are going to bide their time in their pursuit of Man United superstar Pogba

Pogba, who United have a €200M asking price for as per Diario Gol, looks to be staying at Old Trafford for this season at least, something that will sure be music to United’s fans’ ears.

The French international has been somewhat hit-and-miss since his move to the club form Juventus in the summer of 2016.

However his performances at the World Cup in Russia this summer, as well as his commanding display against Leicester in United’s season opener may have just swayed a few United fans’ opinions on the player.

Barca don’t exactly need any more central midfielders given the fact they have already have stars like Ivan Rakitic, Sergio Busquets, Arthur Melo, Sergi Roberto and Arturo Vidal at the club.

But, this doesn’t seem to be stopping the Blaugrana in their pursuit of Pogba, which looks set to be reignited next summer.
