Despite Chelsea beating Newcastle 2-1 at St James’ Park today, a lot of Blues fans weren’t happy with the performance of forward Alvaro Morata, who had a shocking game for Maurizio Sarri’s side this evening.
The Blues beat the Magpies thanks to a goal from Eden Hazard and an own goal from Newcastle defender DeAndre Yedlin, as the club kept up their 100% record in the Premier League.

The win now means that the west London club are joint top of the league, with only goal difference getting in the way of them claiming top spot in England’s top division.
Although Sarri’s side won their first away game against Newcastle since 2011, some fans were not at all pleased with the display that Spaniard Morata put on today.
The former Real Madrid often looked lost leading the line for the Blues, as he was replaced Olivier Giroud with around half an hour left.
Following, and during, the match, Chelsea fans took to Twitter to hound Morata and call for the west London club to sell the player.
