Manchester United midfielder Fred was seen bizarrely with his hands behind his back around the halfway line when closing down Tottenham right-back Kieran Trippier.
We know the Brazil international is still getting used to the physicality of the English game here in the Premier League, but this is ridiculous.
Journalist David Preece was certainly not impressed either, tweeting an image of Fred cowering with his hands behind his back during today’s game at Old Trafford.
Preece jokingly said United should sub him off immediately and fine him a week’s wages – and while we wouldn’t go that far, Jose Mourinho could perhaps do with having a word with his summer signing at half time.

Fred impressed at Shakhtar Donetsk before earning his big move to United this summer, but of course it’s a big step up coming from Ukraine to the Premier League.
Still, when they say players aren’t as hard as they used to be, this is taking things to a whole new level…
