Tammy Abraham to Bordeaux

An exciting young striker who, like many before him, faces a struggle to break into the Chelsea first-team, Tammy Abraham could also be on the move today.

The latest is that the 20-year-old is a target for Bordeaux, according to a vague report this morning by French source L’Equipe.

Blues fans will hope it’s just a loan for Abraham, who showed real potential in a previous loan stint with Bristol City, even if he couldn’t quite maintain that form at Swansea City last season.

Ademola Lookman to RB Leipzig

This one’s been going about for a while, but the Liverpool Echo report that Everton are confident of keeping Ademola Lookman.

The exciting young winger shone on loan in Germany last season, however, and may feel, like many English youngsters right now, that a move abroad would be the best for him.

One to watch in the coming hours as we expect there is still potential for a few twists and turns yet.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek could do with leaving Chelsea for more first-team football to keep his England place

Ruben Loftus-Cheek to…somewhere

Linked with Monaco and Schalke on loan, Ruben Loftus-Cheek was said to be furious at seeing these moves blocked by Chelsea, according to the Sun.

There’s not much he can do about it if his club simply don’t want him to leave, but let’s see if the England international pushes harder for an exit today.

There shouldn’t be a shortage of suitors in Loftus-Cheek, who shone on loan at Crystal Palace last season to earn a place in Gareth Southgate’s World Cup squad.
