Video: ‘The duo is back’ – Kevin De Bruyne scores rare header following inch-perfect cross from David Silva in Manchester City’s League Cup semi-final

Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne scored a rare headed goal this evening during City’s Carabao Cup semi-final against Burton Albion.

David Silva showed off his expert vision just five minutes into the tie when he delivered an inch-perfect cross into the box. The ball dropped perfectly between two Burton defenders and Belgian ace De Bruyne kept a cool head to nod City into an early lead.

Pep Guardiola looks set to win at least one piece of silverware this season with the Citizens, the Manchester outfit are still in the running to win all four competitions (Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, Carabao Cup) that they’ve participated in this season.
