Terms agreed: Arsenal star poised for move away on completion of Denis Suarez transfer

Arsenal youngster Emile Smith Rowe is reportedly close to a loan transfer to RB Leipzig as the Gunners prepare to bring in Denis Suarez from Barcelona.

According to the Independent, the teenager is highly rated at the Emirates Stadium and terms have already been agreed for him to make what looks a smart loan move to Germany.

Smith Rowe has shone in opportunities in Unai Emery’s first-team this season, looking a real talent with three goals in six appearances in the Carabao Cup and Europa League.

Still only 18, opportunities remain limited for Smith Rowe at Premier League level, but he could now get the chance to play top flight football on a regular basis in the Bundesliga.

If this move goes through, Smith Rowe will join the likes of Jadon Sancho and another Arsenal loanee Reiss Nelson in moving abroad to help advance their careers.

Gooners, however, will hope this doesn’t eventually lead to this hugely promising academy graduate being lured away from north London permanently.

If Smith Rowe can shine with Leipzig, Arsenal will no doubt be under pressure to have a first-team spot for him soon.
