Real Madrid are reportedly going to have to pay at least €100M if they want to sign Manchester United and France winger Anthony Martial, after the player signed a new contract with the Red Devils.

According to BBC Sport, Martial has penned a new deal with United that will see him stay at the club until at least 2024, with the option of adding another year to the contract also being included in the deal.

And Martial penning this new deal now means that Real Madrid are going to have to fork out a hefty sum if they want to bring the player to the Spanish capital if Don Balon‘s report is anything to go by.

According to the Spanish news outlet, Martial’s recent form has caught the eye of Real president Florentino Perez, with it also being stated that now the player has signed a new deal, Real are going to have to offer at least €100M if they want to sign the winger.

Martial seems to have been given a new lease of life under new manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, as the Frenchman has been putting in some fine performance for the Red Devils since the Norwegian’s appointment in December.

Real are going to have to dig deep into their pockets if they want to sign Martial

It’s clear for all to see that Real have been missing Cristiano Ronaldo dearly this year, however if they were to sign Martial in the near future, it could put an end to a lot of their problems going forward.

The French international is still just 23 years old, and most likely has a good 10 years of top level football ahead of him, something that could be enough persuade Real to pay big money to sign the winger.

If Real are serious about filling the Ronaldo-shaped void in their squad, they should definitely consider forking out for Martial in the not-too-distant future.
