Solskjaer just got Manchester United to do something they haven’t done since the Ferguson era

Manchester United have just won five away games in a row in all competitions for the first time since 2012 under legendary former manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

This incredible stat comes via Twitter account Utd Report, following the Red Devils’ 1-0 away win at Leicester City in this afternoon’s Premier League clash.

Marcus Rashford scored the winner against Leicester to maintain this superb start under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, whose first game in charge of Man Utd was a thumping 5-1 away win at Cardiff City.

If the Norwegian tactician keeps this up, he will surely be in line to take the job at Old Trafford on a permanent basis, having been drafted in as interim manager until the end of the season when Jose Mourinho left in December.

As well as just results, the manner of United’s performances is hugely impressive, with the team’s away wins also including big results at Tottenham in the league and Arsenal in the FA Cup.
