Arsenal star PUSHING for exit but KEY factor could scupper any departure

Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil’s agent has reportedly been working on an exit, but neither Inter nor Juventus were interested in signing him.

The 30-year-old has struggled to find his best form so far this season, while he’s been limited to just 18 appearances in all competitions.

Having seemingly been demoted to a bit-part role under Unai Emery, it remains to be seen whether or not an exit from the Emirates is the best solution for all concerned.

According to Calciomercato, that could prove to be problematic though, as it’s claimed that Ozil’s agents are working on an exit, but after being snubbed by Juventus, Inter are also uninterested in a transfer even with a possible discount on his transfer fee.

That’s down to his wages and poor form, as per the report, and it’s difficult to imagine many other top European clubs thinking differently as it would surely be considered a huge gamble at this stage.

Ozil could arguably flourish elsewhere in Europe where there is a slower tempo and more space for him to make the most of his creative qualities, but ultimately as he has continued to fail to produce in the big games in the Premier League, it might be time for Emery and Arsenal to move forward without him.

However, it seems as though his wages could be the crucial sticking point, as although he hasn’t reached the levels expected of him in recent months, he still possesses a great deal of quality that could be displayed elsewhere with a more prominent role.
