Barcelona are reportedly looking to offload Philippe Coutinho amid recent transfer gossip linking the former Liverpool star with Manchester United and Chelsea.

According to Don Balon, however, they’re struggling to get a price they’re happy with as these clubs are only currently willing to pay €80million for Coutinho.

The Brazil international has perhaps most strongly been linked with Man Utd since it became apparent he was struggling at the Nou Camp, and there seems little doubt he could be a quality signing for the Red Devils as a replacement for Alexis Sanchez.

That said, Chelsea could also really do with bringing in Coutinho as a replacement for Eden Hazard as he nears a move to Real Madrid.

It will be interesting to see how this one pans out, with Manchester City and PSG also linked with the 26-year-old on occasion.

Those clubs might be more financially able to meet Barca’s demands for the player, but United’s interest remains the strongest.

MUFC should have plenty to spend in the summer as they prepare for life under a new manager, whether that’s Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Mauricio Pochettino or Zinedine Zidane.
