Real Madrid are going to have to pay Eden Hazard a huge wage if they’re to seal a deal to bring the Belgian to the Spanish capital in the summer.

According to Don Balon, Hazard has demanded that Real pay the winger at least €17M-a-year, which equates to around €326,000-a-week, with the Belgian also after a €15M signing-on fee as well.

Signing Hazard would be a dream scenario for Real, as the Belgian international has shown this season that he has all the credentials to fill the Cristiano Ronaldo-shaped void that was left in Real’s side last summer.

Ever since Ronaldo left to join Juventus before the start of the season, Real have clearly been missing the Portuguese forward, however they could be made to forget about the 34-year-old should they end up bringing in Hazard from Chelsea.

Hazard has been in superb form for the Blues this season, with the 28-year-old managing to clock up 15 goals and 10 assists in all competitions, a record that, simply put, is one of the best in Europe.

Real are going to have to fork out a serious wage for Hazard if they are to sign the Belgian

Signing Hazard would be a huge step in the right direction for Los Blancos, as they’d be bringing in a player who’s one of the best in the world in his position, and one who’s capable of leading the Spanish side to glory in the coming years.

Now it just remains to be seen whether Real are willing to pay Hazard this aforementioned sum every week to ensure he ends up at the Santiago Bernabeu this summer….
