Spurs looking at multiple keepers including 2 cap ace; Lloris expected to leave

Hugo Lloris is expected to leave Tottenham Hotspur this summer, with the club looking at a number of different options to replace him.

According to Fabrizio Romano, one of the names on that list is David Raya of Brentford.

Lloris was last seen in a Spurs shirt when they were hammered 6-1 by Newcastle United. The Frenchman was taken off at half-time after he sustained a knee injury.

As for the Bees stopper, he’s played 35 times in the Premier League for Thomas Frank’s side this season and has kept 11 clean sheets thus far.

The 27-year-old has been called up by Spain a number of times but only has two caps to his name at the moment.

Frank has said that Raya is a “£40 million plus” keeper (quoted by the Evening Standard). So if Tottenham wants to sign him this summer, then have an idea of the money they’ll have to spend to bring him to North London.

He’s proven to be one of the best-performing goalkeepers this season, but there will be immense pressure on him to fill Lloris’ shoes should he join Spurs in the coming window.
