Liverpool are looking to sign a new striker this summer as they search for Darwin Nunez’s replacement.
Nunez has once again struggled to perform this season for the Premier League champions.
His lack of goals is a huge concern for the Reds and Arne Slot has decided to replace him this summer in order to strengthen his attacking firepower for next season.
It is clear to see that the Merseyside club heavily rely on Mohamed Salah for goals and they need someone else who could step up when things are not working out for Salah.
Harry Kane, who has won the Bundesliga title with Bayern Munich this season, has been linked with a move to the Premier League.
Harry Kane to Liverpool?
TBR Football has provided the latest update on the future of the England striker who won his first trophy of his senior career this season.
Journalist Graeme Bailey has reported that all the top Premier League clubs, Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea are looking for a new striker this summer and although there is a slim chance of him returning to England this summer, the move cannot be completely ruled out.
Bailey told TBR Football: “I am still hearing Harry Kane’s name coming up. We are really going to have a real shuffle of the pack this summer when it comes to strikers. Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United are all looking for strikers.
“People close to Kane have been asked the question, but say nothing is going to happen – but I can say there are some in football who keep saying watch out for him this summer. I don’t really expect a move, but never say never, this is a crazy market.”
Liverpool need a new striker

The Reds would love to sign a player of Kane’s quality, who is a proven goal scorer in the Premier League, but the move this summer is highly unlikely.
Kane has settled well in Munich and his importance to the team is just too much for Bayern to consider selling him this summer.
While it seems highly unlikely that a move back to Liverpool or to any other club this summer could happen, as Bailey says, you never know in football and the transfer market is crazy.
Former England manager Gareth Southgate described Kane as a ‘phenomenal’ goal scorer.
Kane enjoyed a successful individual time at Tottenham in the Premier League, scoring 213 goals for them in 320 appearances.

Wrong…… Kane is too old, and doesn’t fit Liverpool’s profiles!
too old. 24 is the max age for a forward that Liverpool will sign.
Want a potent striker LFC?!….FSG must fork out money to get either Isak, Rodrygo, Gyokeres or Sesko, in that order!!! Get serious and stop playing around….FSG must invest in 5-6 marquee players for the upcoming season!
Liverpool & FSG should try swap Nunez for either Alvarez or Oshimen, they also try to swap Kerkez & Kelleher deal asap.
