The axe is ready to be swung and it appears to be more than just paper talk as even new arrival Jonathan Woodgate knows Juande Ramos wants to make Martin Jol’s squad into his own.
“We are all playing for our places in the team, no matter how long you are under contract for, where you’ve been before or how long you have been at the club for,” Woodgate told the Evening Standard.
The question to Spurs fans would then have to be, who is safe from the axe in your opinion? One would imagine that the new faces should be fine and I guess you have to add the likes of Berbatov, Keane and Paul Robinson (joke) to that list.
