Spurs to sell £9m STAR and bring in £14m EXCITING striker: Busy times ahead at WHL!

This source suggests that January will be even busier than the summer was at Tottenham. With Ramos looking to rid the club of even more Jol signings in an effort to help the club stave off relegation.

Bent Out Negredo In As Ramos Gains Control At Spurs?
23-year-old Negredo joined Almeria from the Real Madrid second team Castilla in 2007 and has scored 18 goals in 43 appearances for the unfancied Spanish side during his time at the Estadio del Mediterraneo.
Ramos sees Negredo as a better long-term option than England International Darren Bent, who was very much a Comoli purchase and has failed to impress at Tottenham since his £16.5million arrival from Charlton Athletic in 2007.
However, Spurs will face competition from Real Madrid if they do as expected make a January move for Negredo, with Los Merengues having first option on bringing the striker back to the Bernabeu. Which is a possibility if the forward continues to score as freely as he has been for Almeria in La Liga this campaign.
Whether Negredo arrives in the Premier League or not the balance of control passing over to Ramos at White Hart Lane will surely see the departure of Darren Bent in January, with Premiership rivals Sunderland linked to the England man in the summer. (Premiershiplatest.com)

This could well be a very unwise move from Juande, as Darren Bent is one of the only players to have come out of this awful early season start with any credit. The striker has been on target three times in seven starts, and has shown some determination and effort which is more than can be said for a great deal of the players wearing the beloved Tottenham shirt.

Negredo is a big talent though, so i can see why his name has been thrown in the rumour ring (along with hundreds of others of course). Ramos has done well to get rid of some very ordinary players in the summer, and he should continue to do so, but Bent should probably avoid being sold in my view. The club needs to weed out those who really don’t appear to give a damn and are content to just turn up and pick up their wage packets. Who do Spurs fans think the club need to offload in January?
