Wigan are facing a battle to sign Premier League top scorer Amr Zaki after Liverpool entered the race to sign the striker, who is on loan at the JJB Stadium from Egyptian club Zamalek. (Daily Star)
Zaki has been absolutely superb since he arrived on loan at the JJB. Wigan have been discussing the details of a permanent deal for the Egyptian striker; however, one wouldn’t blame him if he set his sights on a move to a bigger club in January. Liverpool already know Zaki’s class, as he put on a clinic for the Anfield faithful last Saturday.
