Barcelona whiz Gai Assulin is set to move to England in January.
The Israeli teenager has been frustrated by his lack of progress this season, where he has been left on the bench for Barca Atleti after passport problems prevented him from following former coach Pep Guardiola into the club’s senior setup.
Assulin counts Pini Zahavi as his agent, who placed Giovani dos Santos at Tottenham in the summer.

The talent this 16-year-old has displayed has been discussed at length by many commentators and coaches, so it’s odd that the Israeli hasn’t been drafted into the first team squad at the Camp Nou. Apparently, the adaptable attacker has a release clause set at £16m, but other sources suggest he could be available for as little as £5.5m. If that is indeed the case, then one hell of a bidding war could ensue.
Coaches at the Catalan club liken his style of play and his potential to that of another great young talent at the La Liga club, one Lionel Messi! Yeah right, I guess Gai Assulin prefers to join a bottom club in EPL over a world class club as Barcelona. Keep on dreaming English fans, Gai stays in Barcelona. He has said so himself several times.

Why do you write this rubbish? Where’s your proof that Gai Assulin actually is consider to leave Barcelona? All reports in Spain says that he only thinks about staying in Barça. Chelsea have been after him for years now and he has turned them down every time.
Pep Guardiola knows this kid better than anyone and he for sure will not let him go. He has promised him to join the first team as soon as he gets his Spannish passport. So Spurs and Chelsea, you can just keep on dreaming about stealing our pearls from La Masia. For once, why can’t you develop your own young talents?
