Could a former Arsenal LEGEND be Stateside bound? He’s ready to follow Beckham!
by offsidetrap on November 11th, 2008The MLS is once again making a call out to all former European football stars that want to relive their glory days on a slightly smaller stage. They’re hoping the smell of fresh cash and a clean start will be enough to entice a certain Arsenal legend away from his Spanish club.
Former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry could quit Barcelona to join David Beckham in the United States. (Daily Express)
It’s a known fact the Henry rather enjoys going to the states. If you’ll recall, Henry was part of a Nike promotional match in New York City where he talked of one day possibly moving the the states to play. As tough as it is to admit, Henry has probably seen his better days; he could really do some good in the MLS if a club was willing to throw the cash his direction.
Will Henry bolt for the MLS in the next two years?

i personally feel he will go….simply because he has seen and almost done it all in europe. it would be a good change for him as he is in his 30’s and he could go on for another 4 to 5 years more in the MLS as it is not that competitive compared to europe. they are willing to pay some good money there too for aging stars plus for a superstar like him …it will definitly be a good place to retire.
