Stoke City keeper Asmir Begovic wants to move to Old Trafford and a plethora of reports suggest that Man United are looking for alternative goalkeeping options but will they pay up the £15m the Daily Mail says Tony Pulis wants for the Bosnian?

The 25 year old Potters star is apparently angling for a move to the Premier League table toppers but Sir Alex Ferguson may well feel the asking price is far too steep.

Whilst there is no denying that Man United have seen both their first team keepers lack consistency any move by Sir Alex Ferguson to bring a more experienced custodian would surely have to come at the expense of one of the current pair.

Such a move would also be a serious blow to both David de Gea and Anders Lindegaard’s confidence and that will clearly not aid their progress on a playing level.
