Andre Schurrle has apparently demanded Bayer Leverkusen accept offers for his services from long term suitors Chelsea according to German source Bild.

The 22 year old left a Bayer Leverkusen training session with an ‘apparent’ groin injury but is said to have reached the end of his tether with his Bundesliga side, who have already turned down Blues bids in the region of £20m.

The BayArena side are said to be looking to secure Belgian youngster Kevin de Bruyne as part of any move to sell Schurrle to the Premier League side, however the Chelsea squad player, currently enjoying a successful loan spell at Werder Bremen, is more interested in joining Borussia Dortmund.

Schurrle does reportedly have a reduced release fee that can be triggered in the summer of 2014, said to be to the tune of just £11m, and Chelsea could look to play a waiting game and secure the young German international at the end of next season.

Andre Schurrle has scored 11 goals and provided seven assists to help Bayer Leverkusen secure a Champions League spot for next term.
