Arsenal are set to make a summer move for Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus according to Football Direct News.

Arsene Wenger hopes to lure the 24 year old German international away from the Westfalenstadion with this source claiming that the Bundesliga side could be set for a mass exodus at the end of the current campaign.

Jurgen Klopp saw youngster Mario Gotze tempted away to the Allianz Arena and star striker Robert Lewandowski has already agreed a summer move to Bayern Munich and could see other stars leave.

Reus has been in fine form this term, scoring 13 goals and providing ten assists in all competitions thus far, but could perhaps be tempted by a fresh challenge having seen Borussia Dortmund fall some 20 points off the Bundesliga title pace.

Arsenal are scouting Reus who could be available for a fee of around £35m.

Wenger may see Reus as the ideal summer addition, a player who can not only offer a very real goal threat and the ability to support Olivier Giroud up front, but an individual who has the creative talent to provide a crucial link between midfield and attack.

Reus could be further tempted by the chance to team-up with national team colleagues Per Mertesacker, Mesut Ozil and Lukas Podolski at the Emirates Stadium.
