The former Werder Bremen man spent last season on loan at Sevilla and is way down Jose Mourinho’s pecking order.

The Sun claim that QPR are ready to offer £7m for Senegalese striker Demba Ba and that’s a fee the Stamford Bridge side may well choose to accept.

A short move across west London may tempt the former West Ham and Newcastle United man as it would offer the forward the chance of regular first team action.

Chelsea are also looking to offload Nigerian international Victor Moses but may struggle to recoup the £9m they paid Wigan in 2012.

The Daily Mirror claim that there is no shortage of interest in the 23 year old with West Brom, Swansea, Southampton, Everton and Newcastle United all keen on the wide-man, who failed to impress during a loan spell at Liverpool last season.
