Galatasaray On Alert As Italian Midfield Legend Issues Juventus Quit Threat

Turkish giants could pounce for Juve playmaker.Galatasaray have been linked with a move for unsettled Juventus star Andrea Pirlo, who is keen to leave the club after they appointed Massimiliano Allegri as their new manager, according to Fichajes.net.

The Italian veteran has played under Allegri before, and was released by the manager during his time at AC Milan, before going on to become a key performer for Juve in their three consecutive title victories in Serie A.

With Allegri’s predecessor Antonio Conte making the surprise and sudden decision to quit Juventus earlier this week, Pirlo could now be on his way out as well, and is a target for his former Italian national team manager Cesare Prandelli, who recently took over from Roberto Mancini in Turkey.

The pair have enjoyed a good working relationship together for the Azzurri, and Pirlo is now seemingly not willing to work under Allegri upon his arrival in Turin.

The 35-year-old’s departure would no doubt be a major blow for the club, who also face big transfer interest in key players such as Paul Pogba and Arturo Vidal, both of whom have been linked with a number of top clubs around Europe in recent months.
