Liverpool have continued their summer spending this evening, with the Reds confirming the signing of centre back Dejan Lovren from Southampton on their official Twitter account:

The Croatian international was quickly pictured on the club’s official Instagram account holding up his new shirt:
He was also shown putting pen to paper on his contract at Anfield, a deal that the Reds describe as being “long-term”.
Liverpool fans were also treated to the traditional sight of their new signing holding up a club scarf whilst wearing his new shirt.
