Real Madrid are reportedly lining up a raid on Chelsea for one of their two main goalkeepers this summer, according to the Sun.

With the experienced and long-serving Petr Cech set to face increased competition for a starting place this season as highly promising youngster Thibaut Courtois returns to Stamford Bridge after three years on loan, it seems likely that one of these two big names will be left disappointed when Jose Mourinho decides on his number one for the new season.

Courtois may be the slight favourite to get the nod at the moment after his world class displays on loan with Atletico Madrid, and Cech has unsurprisingly found himself linked with several clubs this summer as his future grows all the more uncertain.

Real Madrid are seemingly still in the market for a new signing in goal despite bringing in Costa Rican World Cup star Keylor Navas from Levante in this transfer window, with former Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti eyeing either Cech or Courtois as a replacement for Iker Casillas.

The veteran Spaniard has been well off form in recent times and looks likely to be shown the door at the Bernabeu, despite becoming an all-time great for the club in his long career with them.
