It is believed that the Gunners will also look to stump Juve in terms of a contract, too, and will table a £5m-per-year deal.

Juve are looking to tie him down to a new deal after much speculation saw him linked with a return to England with Manchester City and United interested, whilst Paris Saint Germain had also registered their intent to make a move .

However, CaughtOffside understands that Arsene Wenger has had his own interest in the France international, and believes that the two could be mutually beneficial for each other.

Juventus are set to offer the 21-year-old a new contract in the region of €4m-per-year to put the rumours of an imminent exit to bed.

But Arsenal know that Juve want to cut costs in other parts of the squad, and Wenger hopes to take advantage of that by making the club a substantial offer and making the player a more attractive financial proposition as well.
