The Italy international has long been linked with a move to England’s top-flight, but has continued to show his loyalty to the Serie A giants.

The three Premier League giants are all long time admirers of the 28-year-old, and reports in Italy are suggestion that they are all looking at prizing him away from northern Italy in the new year.

It has been hinted that a bid of around £20m could be enough to prompt the Turin side to sell, but by the same token the club are hoping to keep him there for the remainder of his career.

The midfielder’s current deal runs until 2016, but reports in Italy suggest the Bianconeri want to renew his deal for a further three years, boosting his salary from £2.4m per year to £2.8m.
