In a question and answer session on social networking site Twitter, the 37-year-old revealed that he feels the best he has played with is another ex-United star, Ryan Giggs.

The Welshman is perhaps not the most controversial choice given his superb longevity in the game and long list of achievements with the Red Devils, though he is arguably not on a par with the likes of Ronaldo and Scholes ability-wise all at their peaks.

Still, Neville gave a simple answer stating the recently-retired midfielder was his pick of best player he’s played alongside.

Giggs now works as assistant manager to Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford, having served as caretaker manager towards the end of last season and calling an end to his long playing career in the summer.

Neville has also worked on the coaching staff at United, and is also a pundit for BBC Sport.
