The skillful attacker was in tremendous form for Palace in their 3-1 win over the Reds last weekend, just as he was in their meeting towards the end of last season, when the Eagles fought back from 3-0 down to draw 3-3 at Selhurst Park.

These superb displays against Liverpool look to have put the wide-man on Brendan Rodgers’ radar for the upcoming winter transfer window, with the Northern Irishman in need of some improvements to his attacking options at Anfield after a difficult summer.

Having lost last season’s top scorer Luis Suarez as he made the move to Barcelona, Liverpool’s new signings have struggled to settle, with Mario Balotelli, Adam Lallana and Lazar Markovic making minimal impact at the club so far this season.

Daniel Sturridge’s lengthy absence through injury has also hurt Liverpool, and it may be that Bolasie could give the team something different on the flanks.

Still, Warnock is adamant that the 25-year-old will stay and that Palace are very much a club at his level.
