The 19 year old rangy midfielder has recently penned a new deal with his Parc des Princes side but could be sent out on loan in January and White Hart Lane boss Mauricio Pochettino is keen to land the French Under-21 international next month.
Pochettino appears to not have all that much faith in the likes of Moussa Dembele and Paulinho, the pair amassing just three Premier League starts between them this term, and could see Rabiot as a helpful option to strengthen his options in the centre of the park.
The Argentine is clearly a manager who is willing to trust to youth with both Ryan Mason and Nabil Bentaleb having good runs of first team action since Pochettino took over at the north London side.
Rabiot is struggling to force his way into Laurent Blanc’s side and could benefit from a spell at Spurs.
