Former Gunner John Jensen had claimed while commentating on Danish TV that the Polish international would not play for the rest of the campaign due to bad behaviour.

He was also apparently fined for the behaviour which supposedly came after Arsene Wenger’s side lost 2-0 to Southampton in their last Premier League match. Jensen is a close friend of Steve Bould, who is the assistant coach at the Emirates Stadium.

The 24-year-old missed the Gunners’ match against Hull City in the FA Cup third round, where David Ospina deputised between the sticks.

The Colombian put in a solid performance, and will provide competition for the number one spot going to the future now that he has returned from an injury that has made his season with the team difficult.
