After a pretty turbulent start to his Spurs career, head coach Mauricio Pochettino finally seems to be succeeding at White Hart Lane.

The former Saints boss now knows what his best team looks like.

Aaron Lennon, Emmanuel Adebayor and Paulinho do not appear to feature in Pochettino’s future plans, so the Argentine is looking to move the trio on.

Lennon, who is the longest serving member of the Spurs squad, has not played a Premier League game since making a seven-minute cameo in the 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace on December 6.

The 21-time England international has 18 months left to run on his £55,000-a-week contract.

Adebayor currently earns £100,000 per week, so Spurs may find it very difficult to find a buyer for the former Arsenal and Manchester City forward.

However, the club remain very hopeful of getting rid, as Adebayor has fallen way out of favour at White Hart Lane, despite Harry Kane being Tottenham’s only in-form striker.

Paulinho played all of Monday night’s 1-1 draw at Burnley in the FA Cup, but he has not started a Premier League match all season.

The Brazilian, who earns £60,000 each week, has attracted interest from Corinthians, Cruzeiro and Inter Milan.
