The Portuguese international, who starred at Old Trafford earlier in his career prior to an £80m move to Madrid in 2009, has recently been quoted as proclaiming his ongoing love for his old club, whilst also failing to rule out a possible return to Manchester in the future.
The 29-year-old has taken his game to a whole new level since moving to La Liga, and is becoming regarded as one of the finest players of his generation, winning two Ballon d’Or prizes in a row.
Ronaldo has an incredible record of 286 goals in 275 games for Real, and it would surely take a bid of mammoth proportions to see him return to the Premier League anytime soon.
Still, United remain the favourites to be Ronaldo’s next club, whenever that move may take place.
