The 24 year old Blues attacker has become something of a bit-part player and having impressed during the World Cup finals it appears that Bundesliga side Wolfsburg are willing to make a big offer for the former Bayer Leverkusen man.
Chelsea paid £18m for Schurrle and Wolfsburg are ready to offer as much as £27.5m for his services and that’s an offer Jose Mourinho would surely consider accepting.
Willian has been Mourinho’s first choice option on the right-hand side of his attack, restricting Schurrle to just five Premier League starts this season, and this could be an opportunity for the Chelsea manager to cash-in on his services and helpfully therefore funding any move for Cuadrado.
