The 21-year-old only joined the Bundesliga side from Hamburg last summer, and has gone on to grab 10 goals from 37 appearances. His ability in dead ball situations has been especially impressive. All this has led to the four European giants looking in to his signature, and the Express believe that it could take around £20 million to entice Leverkusen in to selling the Turkey international.

This won’t be good news for the Premier league pair, with the extra competition sure to make it harder to sign the player. It will be especially bad for Liverpool, with Juventus and Roma being able to offer Champions League football alongside the Gunners.

Brendan Rodgers’ side look unlikely to be in Europe’s premier competition next season as they are currently five points off fourth placed Manchester United in the top flight with eight games to go.
