Arsenal vs Liverpool kick-off the action in the early game where the battle for Champions League qualification takes centre stage, with the Reds almost certainly needing a victory to stay in the hunt.
Then in the three o’clock matches we will see an in-form Manchester United side welcome the visit of relegation threatened Aston Villa to Old Trafford as they look to tighten their grip on a top-four finish and put pressure on the teams above.
Two sides currently in the bottom three will also be in action on Saturday as Leicester City welcome West Ham United to the King Power stadium in what is a must win game for Nigel Pearson’s side, and QPR travel to West Brom hoping to end a run of five straight defeats.
League leaders Chelsea will look to take one step closer to the league title when they host Stoke City in the late game, while on Easter Sunday Tottenham travel to Burnley and Newcastle United host the Tyne-Wear derby against Sunderland.
Then to round things off on Easter Monday Manchester City will hope to keep their title hoes alive when they travel to Selhurst Park to take on Alan Pardew’s Crystal Palace.
And by the looks of things on Twitter it seems everyone is pleased to see the Premier League back in action:
