(Video) Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho not a fan of individual awards but wants the big one

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho made his feelings clear regarding the individual honours handed out at the end of the season and insisted that his eyes are only on one prize – the Premier League trophy.

As he prepares his side to face one of the in-form teams in the division in Manchester United, Mourinho is looking to extend the lead at the top of the table to 10 points and take full advantage of Arsenal’s FA Cup commitments.

Should he suffer what would be only his second him loss in charge of Chelsea in the Premier League, the tittle race may start to get more interesting with Louis van Gaal’s side then added into the equation.

However, those scenarios are not contemplated by the Portuguese coach and after he was questioned regarding the manager and player of the year awards, Mourinho made it clear that only being champions excites him.

Star man Eden Hazard is the current favourite to swoop the award (via the Mirror), but his boss insisted that the Belgian’s ambitions and focus mirror his own.
