Serie A champions Juventus progressed to their first Champions League final in 12 years after knocking out Real Madrid at the semi-final stage 3-2 on aggregate thanks to a second half goal from former Los Blancos striker Alvaro Morata and there has been a huge reaction on social media.

The Italians went into the return leg at the Santiago Bernabeu with a slender 2-1 advantage and fell behind in the 23rd minute as Cristiano Ronaldo scored from the penalty spot after Giorgio Chiellini had tripped James Rodriguez in the area.
It could have been worse for Juve in the first half as the home side wasted chances to extend their lead, but early in the second half came the pivotal moment of the tie as Morata punished some slack defending by his former team-mates to equalise on the night and send the Old Lady into the final.
A meeting with La Liga leaders Barcelona awaits the Turin outfit in Germany next month and Twitter has been forthcoming with praise for Andrea Pirlo, Paul Pogba and company
