Stamford Bridge defender linked with summer exit.

Newcastle United, Leicester City and Watford are all interested in signing Chelsea youngster Nathan Ake on a loan deal according to the Daily Mail.

The 20-year-old defender moved to Stamford Bridge in 2010 and made his Premier League debut in December 2012 but has struggled to retain a foot-hold in the first-team set-up ever since.

Last term Ake managed just 17 minutes of Premier League action and also spent time away on loan at Norwich City and could well do with some regular playing time.

The Daily Mail claim that Jose Mourinho wishes to hand Ake’s number six squad number to Everton defender John Stones with the Blues set to make a £26m offer for the England international.

Ake has represented Holland at Under-21 international level and is a player with a great deal of potential and a move away from Stamford Bridge may be necessary if he is unable to force his way into Jose Mourinho’s plans.
