Wolfsburg midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has spoken about the reported interest in his services from some of Europe’s major sides.

The Belgium international only moved to the Bundesliga in 2014, when he swapped Chelsea for the Wolves, but he has already been tipped for a return to England.

Manchester City are understood to be keen on the playmaker, with the Express reporting that the Citizens are keen on bringing the 24-year-old to Eastlands.

However, the heavyweight suitors for the player may be encouraged by his recent comments; despite insisting that he is only thinking about playing for Wolfsburg, De Bruyne admitted that he was aware of the interest in his services.

“Of course, it makes you think,” he began, speaking to Kicker, as reported by Le 10 Sport, “when a big club knocks at your door, it’s always something special.

“But I am here, I am only thinking about playing for VfL Wolfsburg. I have never asked to leave, it’s not right.
