Manchester United are going to fine Angel Di Maria two weeks wages after he failed to turn up to their pre-season tour of America, reports the Daily Star.

The 27-year-old was due to link up with the squad last week after his exertions in the Copa America. However, he is yet to join them, and will now have to take a £360,000 fine as a result. Manager Louis van Gaal is thought to have been angered by the player’s actions and is keen to see him punished for them.

The Dutchman even admitted that he doesn’t know where the forward was this week, and it seems that a move to PSG is just matter of time. The Ligue 1 champions are going to sign the player for £40 million according to The Guardian. This is only one season after United bought him for a record-breaking £59.7 million, and represents a huge loss for the Premier League outfit.

Di Maria managed ten assists and four goals in his debut season, but most of these cam in the first half of the campaign. The player was unsettled by a break in at his home at the beginning of the year, and never seemed to recover from the trauma.
